Rep. Ken Sweezey, R-Duxbury, filed bills related to recreational beach access and shorebird protections in Massachusetts. 'It's about balance,' Sweezey said. 'We cannot put the natural habitat and the species in danger, but we also can't just completely shut out our small businesses, the residents that visit the beach and sticker holders from across the county and the state that have been coming there for generations to enjoy that natural resource that we do have.'
